About Us
Hontek was founded in 1992 to conduct Small Business Innovation Research contracts for the United States Army, Navy and Air Force. Hontek has maintained continuous self-funded R&D efforts to develop superior erosion resistant, and abrasion resistant coatings for aerospace, wind energy and industrial applications.
Products
Hontek develops and manufactures sprayable, rollable, brushable and moldable polyurethane coatings. The coatings can also be preformed into shapes for subsequent bonding to various substrates, such as the leading edge of a rotor blade.
